Q: Are beginners welcome?

Yes, we welcome complete beginners! We can provide training for:

  • All experience levels
  • All genders and ages
  • Children and families
  • Vacation training
  • Amateur fighters
  • Professional fighters

It doesn’t matter if you have no prior experience, no fitness level, or no martial arts training. Our trainers will adjust the training program to cater to your goals, experience, fitness, and skill level.

Q: Do I need to train and prepare myself before the trip?

You do not need to pre-train or pre-learn Muay Thai before coming here!

The point is to learn and improve when you arrive. Remember, we welcome absolute beginners and please note that all experience levels are welcome 🙂

We have several pricing options for Train & Stay Packages.

Q: Will there be trainers?

Yes. Our trainers have been carefully screened for quality, authenticity, and professionalism.

Q: What is a training session like?

This depends on the time of day and the day of week.

You will be learning all aspects of Muay Thai, from fundamentals, footwork, striking, defending, clinching, to sparring. You’ll also be learning the cultural aspects, such as the Wai Khru dance.

A typical training session is as follows:

  • Warm up jog or jump rope
  • Shadow boxing
  • Bag work
  • Pad work with trainers
  • Clinching or sparring
  • Technique drills
  • Strength and conditioning
Q: What are your class times?

Q: How should I dress to train Muay Thai?
  • Please wear normal exercise clothes.
  • Pick lightweight materials, which will allow your sweat to evaporate. This can help reduce the chance of your body overheating.
  • Please also bring your running shoes.
  • Please bring a towel.
  • Bringing your own Muay Thai gear is optional.
Q: Do I have to bring my own Muay Thai Equipment?

Short answer is: no.

We have equipment for you to borrow (secondhand) and we also have a shop on site where you can purchase training gears such as gloves, training shirts, Muay Thai shorts, and hand wraps (stocks are subject to availability).

If we are out of stock, Lumpinee Stadium has a nice shop for you to buy everything you need! It is also only a 15-minute cab ride away from Khongsittha Muay Thai.

Q: What if I want to fight?

To fight Muay Thai in Bangkok, a minimum stay of 30 days, 30 nights is required. This will allow us enough time to train you and to find you a fair match up.

We can find beginner, amateur, and professional fights for you. We will examine your skill level, experience, and fitness upon arrival. Then, we will need to send photos and videos of you to our promoters.

Q: Am I too old to train?

We will always adjust the training intensity to fit your fitness level. Our focus is on having you learn the foundations of Muay Thai in a safe, effective, and entertaining matter. So, do not worry about your age! If you’re ready to learn, we are ready to teach.

Accommodation

Q: What are your rooms like?

Our Superior Rooms come with the option of a king size bed or two twin beds. With an area of 30 sqm per unit, the room is spacious for two and is equipped with a working area by a private balcony. Each room has its own shower and comes with fresh towels and a basic toiletry set. To see what our rooms look like, please click here.

Q: Do you have a bigger room?

Yes. For an additional charge, you are able to upgrade to a Suite Room (subject to availability).

Our Suite Rooms have an area of 60 sqm per unit and comes with a living room. Each Suite comes with a king sized bed, two separate showers, and two private balconies. Exceptionally spacious, the Suite Rooms are perfect for couples and families!

Q: What time do I check-in?

Please check-in after 12 PM

  • Important: all train and stay packages include your check-in date!
  • This means that you do not need to purchase an additional night or arrive one day beforehand. You may do so if it suits your travel plans.
  • Example: If your package starts on the 11th of May, please check-in on the 11th of May after 12 PM.
Q: What happens if I need to check in earlier?

Depending on room availabilities, we can always accommodate special check-in requests:

  • This means that you can check-in super early or check-in super late.
  • Early check-ins may incur an additional charge (calculated by night). Thus, purchasing an additional night may be the best option depending on your flight arrival time.
Q: What time is check-out?

Please check out by 1 PM.

This means that you can attend the morning session (included in your package) and take a shower afterwards, all before check out time!

Q: What deposits do I need to make at check-in?

There is a 500 THB deposit for the room key cards. This is returned to you at check-out after returning the key card.

For monthly stays, there is a security deposit of 10,000 THB. This security deposit is returned to you at check-out after deducting your utility charges (water and electricity usage).

On average, monthly utility charges can range from 2,000 to 6,000 THB. This just depends on the customer’s usage.

Electricity charge:  7 THB per unit
Water charge:  20 THB per unit

Q: What is the price of an additional night's stay?

Additional nights are 850 THB per night for our Superior Rooms.

For instance, if you’d like to check-in on a Monday (in which the gym and restaurant are closed), there will be an additional charge for the room only.  Additional nights do not include Muay Thai training.

If you need to stay longer after your package ends, please let us know in advance.

Q: What is the best way to get to Khongsittha Muay Thai?

There are 3 options for you to travel to Khongsittha Muay Thai. The best way is by taxi. For all options, please show the Address and Note to the taxi driver. You can also check us out on Google Maps.

  1. Option A: Taxi Only
    Tell the taxi driver to take the highway towards Ramintra and take Kaset Nawamin Exit.
  2. Option B: BTS Skytrain + Taxi
    Take the BTS to On Nut Station, then take a taxi from Lotus Shopping Mall via highway towards Ramintra and take Kaset Nawamin Exit.
  3. Option C: MRT Subway + Taxi
    Take the MRT to Ladphrao Station, then take a taxi or motorbike taxi from the subway exit (no highway) towards Ladphrao Soi 71 – Nak Niwat 48. For Option C, please show this note to the driver: เข้าซอย รัชดา 36 ทะลุหลังลาดพร้าววังหิน และออกถนนสตรีวิทยา 2 จะเจอ ค่ายมวยคงสิทธา ติดมินิบิ๊กซี (Mini Big C) ใกล้แยกโรงไม้
Q: How do I get to Khongsittha Muay Thai from Suvarnabhumi Airport (Main Airport)?
  1. Queue up at the taxi line and show the address and note to the driver.
  2. Take the highway towards Ramintra and take Kaset Nawamin Exit. Upon highway exit, take a left onto Kaset Nawamin Road.
  3. On Kaset Nawamin Road, make a left at the first intersection towards Chok Chai 4.
  4. Follow this road (Sukhonthasawat Road) all the way till the end (approx. 2 km). You will pass apartments and multiple restaurants.
  5. At the end of this road, there is a forced left curve turn. You should have passed the golfing range called Kiatthada Driving Range.
  6. Khongsittha Muay Thai will be on your right before the red light intersection!
  7. Your accommodation is located behind the gym at Kiatthada Resort.
Q: How do I get to Khongsittha Muay Thai from Don Muang Airport?
  1. Queue up at the taxi line and show the address and note to the driver.
  2. Take the highway towards Ramintra and take Bang Khen Exit. Upon highway exit, take a left onto Kaset Nawamin Road.
  3. Once on Kaset Nawamin Road, follow the road (through the tunnel) until the third large intersection to turn right towards Chok Chai 4.
  4. Follow this road (Sukhonthasawat Road) all the way till the end (approx. 2 km). You will pass apartments and multiple restaurants.
  5. At the end of this road, there is a forced left curve turn. You should have passed the golfing range called Kiatthada Driving Range.

Q: What date do I select from the calendar?

On the booking calendar, simply select the date that you’d like to start your package on.

Note: In the booking process, please ignore the “Departure” terminology as it’s a third party booking system thing that we can’t fix (see below).

Q: What is our refund/cancellation policy?
  • To be eligible for a refund, Enhanced Refund Terms must be added to your booking.
  • To process a refund, please fill in the following Refund Form.
  • Please email [email protected] if you’d like to make a refund or cancellation.
  • Payments on our website are processed only in Thai Baht (THB).
Q: What if I want to change my date of training?
  • You can change your training dates, free of charge.
  • Subject to occupancy availability.
  • All you have to do is shoot us an email at [email protected]
Q: Do you provide airport pick-up/drop-off?

Under each train and stay package, we provide airport arrival transfer service for the Combo Package Rates.

At this moment, we do not provide airport drop off service. The best way is to book a taxi via Grab application.

Q: What are your payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. Note: There is a 3% service charge fee for credit cards swiped at Khongsittha Muay Thai.

Our Welcome Guide can be accessed here. It has all the useful information you need for your Muay Thai Package.

Q: Do your provide visa letters for long term stays?

Yes we do. Simply request for this and we can help you out. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the visa outcome. What we can provide you with are supporting documents.
